In the past few nights my wife and I have watched a couple of duds we boght cheap in a blockbuster closing down sale recently. If these are on your radar, I'd steer well clear: Hell's Gate and The Haunting of Molly Hartley. Now your turn: What movies would you warn against us watching?

Well from the more mainstream movies I recommend avoiding "The Final Destination" and "Transformers" both over rated and utter rubbish. But funnily I recently watched "Streets of Fire" from 1984 which was so bad it became entertaining with all the bits which should be action packed or dramatic being unintentionally funny.

That's it although even that part of it ended up laughable as well

streets of fire..that rings a bell..wasn't it kind of a cult post-apocalyptic movie?

The worst movie I have seen within the past week has been "Final Destination 3D". I expected the 3D to make the movie more real but I was disappointed with the outcome. We bought "Polar Express" in 3D for our kids and now some of the parts of that movie makes it feel like you are right there.

well i consider polar express to be a real classic ive recently considered buying the dvd myself (its amazingly expensive for somebody like me who resents paying more than $5 for a dvd) but in 3d - it must be awesome

It is really good. On top of it being in 3D it is also a Blue Ray as well.

The first movie that comes to mind for me is "Wicker Man" with Nicholas Cage. Yikes, what a snoozer! We thought ok, here's something on the scary/suspenseful side, starring a moderately capable actor, let's give it a shot. Well, a wasted couple of hours was had by all! I would go so far as to say that the entire film was an embarassment for all involved. smiles, ink

I would have to say the worse movie I've seen recently was Up in the Air. Now it's not a bad movie, it just wasn't really on my must watch list. I wasn't that excited about it. I basically wanted to see it because it was mostly shot in my hometown of St. Louis, MO. So I was interested in seeing how they made different parts of the Lou into all these different places all over the country. Also, the church were the wedding scene took place was near my daughter's school so I was very familiar with the area. Hoping to see some of the school kids in a shot or something. LOL

Since the question is the worst recently, I must say Nine in a subpar movie, although it's not an utterly bad movie. I really hope the movie will be as good as Chicago, considering that both movies came from the same director, but it turs out Nine does not have a flowing sequence of scenes and songs like Chicago. It lacks depth on character and the story is going all over the place. The only thing that I like is the lavish art direction, and several actors performance like Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Fergie

Thats good to know SB especially as that was a film I was most probably going to get around to seeing. I'll delay it a little more now. At first though I was getting confused with Tim Burton's 9 which is a movie I really want to see and I was hoping we weren't getting a bad review there or I'd be upset!

Hi markodoom!^^ I haven't watched a very bad movie lately. But I've watched The Tooth Fairy just last night and it kinda disappointed me. I love Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson and I adored his films before but this one was kind of a bit corny. I found the story on tooth fairy a little corny. Sure there were some funny moments but most of the comedy antics didn't even made me smile. The Game Plan was a lot better than this.^^

Hi! I actually can't remember the last bad movie i have watched, but last night i watched "terminator- the salvation" and I was disappointed because it wasn't actually that what I think it will be. And I even have fallen asleep before the end of it But I can tell you one, which I think it is a junk, but it is very interesting and i was very wrong- the movie calls " the black lightning" and it is a Russian one. Also the finnish one :"the Christmas story" is very very good
