is it ok to pay money for you college homework?

I have seen this so many times in my life, I had classmates that would pay other people, for them to do their college homework, this is obviously a way to cheat, and it is totally unfair with the students that are willing to do the work in an honest way. This used to make me really furious when i was in college because I would see this cheaters doing this over and over again, and they will never get caught. What do you think about this?

I've had a class when over half of the class cheats and the teacher never catches them. It drives me crazy too but there's always going to be people who try to take a shortcut and there isn't much that the people who work hard honestly to do. 
Maybe we can just be happy that our hard work gets us good grades.

I totally agree with you and I have gone through the same experiences when I was in college, and more than once. I think at the end, everybody receive their punishment in one way or other one, it may be getting fired from a job because they don't know anything, due to they cheat in college all the time. But I think it is really frustrating especially when you are the one doing the homework all the time without having to cheat.

It's certainly not the right thing to do, there are many reasons why this is, the main one is that you should earn it yourself and I have no problem with getting someone who knows more about the particular subject to go through it with you and maybe give you a few pointers but doing it the other way is wrong.
I'm sure that many people who have been offered money for doing someone else's work have actually purposely done a really lax job with it in a quick way to get it over with as you can't really kick up a fuss and tell your tutor that you paid someone to do it when you find out that it's a bad piece of work.
And another point is that you really need to do it yourself to give you and your tutors the example of what kind of work you can do and whether you are one of the top in the class. If you feel like doing this then I would advise against it because it will cause more problems than it will solve.
