when do people boast??

hi mylotters,
i have been wondering that people boast for a lot of things... for example my friend used to get low marks in class and then says that i don't need to study at all cuz i ve lots of money and all that... people boast a lot when there is no stuff...
have you come across people like them.. if yes for what things they boast much??

You have hit the nail on the head. When you have stuff, no reference need be made to it by oneself. Aperson wit a lot of stuff would be what I might like to call a self-luminary.

Some people boast because they have such behavior in their nature. They keep on telling others about the things they have and the things they can. I've noticed that guys usually start to boast when there is a girl involved in conversation. I think they do it in order to catch girl's attention and to gain her sympathy.

ya these things happen a lot in life and people boast a lot for many things the main thing for which they boast is to show them superior to others and to escape from certain things . one of my friends used to say the same as your friend told . i think many have that attitude
