it was long time ago. about 30 years ago. wow, 30 years ago men could landed on the moon! can you imagine, on that time we have no internet, cellphone, ipod, laptop, or any other hi-tech stuff. but we were succeed to flight our first astronout to the moon. isn't it great? thats amazing! then why can't we repeat our succeed now? with so many high technologies and newly discovery, its should be more easy to realize it.

It hasn't been a top priority. Which is interesting, because I could have sworn we left something impotent up there the last time. I mean, didn't someone leave their socks up there? We should really sent someone back to check to see if my lucky nickel is there. I lost it a while back, and really need that thing right now.

By facts it was 40 years ago...Hm.I believe that Apollo 11 landed and the men had walked on Moon. Most common this was a competition between USSR and USA.

ya it is possible to succeed more and more but in this current economic scenerio no any country whether developed and developing willing to do that now they are trying to recover their country from slipping in its actual level this is one reason and another is without through knowledge it is not good to import people there as your content it is not new to the world our ancient people already had this knowledge of moon and other celetial body.

I agree with you friend.. Why we can't send another space explorations? We have the newest and hi-tech gadgets now. However the other mylotters are right too. having this gobal economic crisis I think it is impractical to send astronauts to the moon since they have nothing to do there.

Well, I don't think we can't , maybe we/ they don't want to, because there is really nothing to do there and there are so many drills and it is cheaper to send a drill and not a whole spaceship with the astronauts. And I think they have done it as a challenge to many nations, who will be the first there - the Russians or the americans

Last time it was thanks to the U.S. - Soviet arms race that we get to see man on the moon. Now U.S. has other agendas, like dealing with fire in its backyard, and rats in their vacation houses. Of course they can land on the moon a second, build a base or even a colony, is just not important right now. They only do what is good for the business, not for the benefit of mankind. If is not for the army projects we wouldn't be using laptops and internet right now. If we can't stop fighting each other on earth, we can never reach our arm into the space, it require the collaboration of all the nations. Right now we are just too focused on little gains infront of us, and not realize the treasure we can gain in working together.
