My dog greets me at the door as most do but when she has been out with someone else and returns to the house she always finds me for a word or two and a pat. This is the first dog I have had that greeted me when she had been away.

How sweet. I am not sure what my little dog would do if she were to arrive from being away with someone other than myself as she does not go with anyone else but me. I find this most sweet about your dog. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling, does it not? When I have been away and arrive back home, my pup is right there to greet me, with toy in mouth, her tail going in circles like a propeller, as she goes around and around waiting for me to get down, say hello and pat her. I love coming home to my pup. Enjoy!

It's hard to compare a dog's love with any other they just don't care about your warts they just love you.

They sure do! My dog is always willing to go for a walk, play, an adventure and cuddles, no matter what I look like or feel like. My Best Friend. Cheers.

There is nothing like a doggy welcome to help you get over whatever the day has brought you. Thanks

Sadie doesn't have much to say first thing in the morning, except to demand to go out. She then checks the near field for invaders and gives a few barks just for show befoe she comes back and goes back to a warm bed. Hounds live up to their lazy reputation.

When I leave, Gus follows me out the back door and barks and cries. It's heartbreaking! But when I come back I open the garage door and look up at my bedroom window--there is his dear little face peeking above the window sill. I wave at him and by the time I get the garage door locked he and Cookie have run downstairs and greet me as I walk to the door. It's a lick-fest until they calm down, it's as if they have springs on their back legs with all the jumping going on! Oh boy, just saw the new emoticons!! Cool!!

When we leave Sadie watches the road for our car to return, she has a different bark for our car.

That’s gorgeous! My dog greets me whenever she sees me. She is almost always outside and when I drive in the carport I can see her near the gate waiting for me, she does the same thing to my daughter when she walks home from school. Cassie (our dog) adores us and has a need to always be near us. She amuses me whenever I go outside to hang the washing out she comes along and sits on my feet! She is very loving!

When I walk in the door my baby Eva is right at my heels. She has to lay in me and follows me where ever I go. As a matter of fact she is on my lap as I type this response. She is the unknown member of myLot..lol

Isn't that cute. I am now missing the dog we've been caring for over the last week. Doesn't take long to get fond of them, does it?
