Can you use second -hand mobile phones?

i do not use second-hand mobile phones. since i buy new mobile phones and will use it for like 4-5 years. i don't change phones often because we can never keep up with the latest technology. But we can get along with it and to know it. I can get along with technology. I know how to use some high tech phones but just don't want to buy as it waste my money and soon, the newer version will be released. so, no second-hand phones for me as i always prefer my things to be new as i will use it for long term. ^^

I have use a second-hand phones for about one year. It was in 2006, my phone have been stolen, and I didn't have so much money to buy a new one, so I just went to a second-hand phone market and buy a cheap one. It was Nokia, and worked very well, and the funny thing is when I save enough money and want buy a new phone, the second-hand one just became broke, the screen can't see sometime, so I just buy a new one.
