movies for a cent

I was amazed when I started noticing on amazon that you can buy many used DVDs for only one cent because they're not just junk movies or even old ancient movies but some fairly new and decent movies. I have started making a list of what titles are out there in the bargain basement and started a new blog (http://moviesforacent.com) just focused on helping people discover these gems. For example, have any of you watched the movie 'Breach'? Amazingly you can get a copy that cheap!

i'd prefer if you stop by my blog first...i'm promoting amazon movies but with the added value of guiding you to those cheap movies and giving you reviews, trailers, tips on other related movies, critic overviews and ratings pointers...

Wow that's great. One cent a movie is really cheap but I guess the bulk of the cost will go to the delivery then. I've noticed some cheap stuff on ebay have very hefty delivery charges. Do you think they earn a portion of the delivery charges?

You're exactly right UmiNoor! You do have to pay shipping on all of these movies and it is 2.98 minimum I believe. I personally think that they MUST take a cut out of that - Amazon have to have their margin for example. Even so I still believe it is VERY cheap for fairly new and good DVDs. There is an incredible number of movies priced below or just over a buck too which I will also start to list in my blog because again, even with shipping, you're still paying only $4. It's as cheap as renting at some places and you get to own the movie which is great.

I will have to check out your blog. I love to check out movies! I dont have cable so it is all I watch. A lotof what like is hard to find though. I love horror and serial killer movies- I really want A Deliberate Stranger. You should letme know if you see that one! Thanks for the info!!!

I'll definitely watch out for A Deliberate Stranger. I've not heard of it but I'll look for it now. I'm a fan of horror flicks too so I'll make sure that my next posting at my blog focuses on a horror movie. How's that?

I tried to go on your blog and it told me it wasn't a website. Is the link wrong or am I just messing it up?lol Anyways, this sounds awesome. Movies for 1 cent? At first I was like this can't be true! But if it is I'm amazed. I can't wait to see some of these movies!

I just tested the link and DOH!!! I didn't realize that MyLot automatically prefixes the links with another http:// reference which was the problem. Try this moviesforacent.com and if it that doesn't work just go to my profile and you'll see a link there. Meanwhile it really is true...BUT please note...you DO have to pay shipping and that is nearly three bucks...so in the end you do have to pay something but even with that they are a REAL bargain!
