Does anyone spend a lot of time playing MMORPGs?

I used to be World of Warcraft addict, but it was seriously ruining my life. I stopped hanging out with my friends so I could play it, I wasn't getting enough sleep and my job performance was suffering, etc. So finally I deleted my account. Recently I've been starting to play some free online MMORPGs ( http://www.gratis-mmorpg.com/ ) and I"m afraid I'll fall back into my old habits. Has anyone been in this situation before? Were you able to play the games at all or did you have to quit permanently forever? The free online ones aren't addictive as WOW was, I just worry that it might get to a bad spot again without me realizing it. Any advice? Thanks.

I used to play a lot of MMORPG's the reason is that it makes me transcend to that character and makes me believe that it's me, the main reason I became addicted of it. The downside though is the boost of confidence is only temporary and while im online. Thats all. I have no life if I leave that world of RPG hehehe. So I decided enough of this and live my life in the real world.

I play www.profurgol.com it's an online football game. I am an admin there and miraculously it doesn't affect my life so drastically. :)

Oh yes I did love to play them a lot, but I had it bad I would hardly sleep. Still I still love to play them, but I play for an hour or so. It's always fun to play games just don't let it get to addicting.
