v-day tip: to dine out or to cook for him?

we're on our third year anniversary as husband and wife. this coming valentine's day,i want to surprise him after his day's work. i haven't decided yet whether to cook dinner for him or to just reserve a romantic dinner on a restaurant. if you were on my place,what would you do?;)
