Memories

I was looking at an old photo of myself, a picture from childhood. The scene that was captured seemed very familiar, but at the same time unreal. This feeling made me think about the movie Bladerunner, and how pictures were given to the machines in order to make them think they have a past. When I look at many pictures, I can't tell if I really remember the event, or if the picture just makes me believe that I do. Has anyone else experienced this? What do people think?

I enjoy looking at old photos of myself especially to bring back the memories of that moment in time. I wish I can save those moments as if they were yesterday. Some of them I cannot remember well but I imagine what that moment was about. I always try to stay a child at heart, because I don't like the life I see society trying to put on us to act a certain way. The pictures that I have as a child will let me live those moments over and over again.

Hey Lowloy, Although I see no harm in reminiscing, I think we should strive to make our present better and not just long for the past. I don't like the stuff that goes on around me either, however I can't go back, only forward, so why not try to make the future worth existing in?

Hi! I love looking my photos from some birthdays or parties, or some travels with family and friends, and I can tell you, I am really honest, that I remember every event from each photo I sea and I even know the date of some of them and who exactly has made the photo. I have many, but really many paper and digital photos, and I look them very often, just to remember the good old times

Hey phoenix8606, That's cool that you remember. I'm not as certain. A lot of times I wonder if I didn't make up remembering, I mean I can't prove that the memories I have are accurate or inaccurate.
