What am I doing wrong my Star rating is low?

I just hit my over 100 post and I only have a 3 as a star rating. I feel disappointed in myself. I had hoped for higher. I have no best responses, and I feel like I am not being rated. What am I doing wrong? What could I do better? Is there any tips on what to do to get a higher star rating. I would like to hear from people who have been where I am and also people who know what they are talking about!

Hello, Christina, and welcome to MyLot. Have you responded to discussions in politics or religion? Some people over there tend to negative rate if you disagree with them.
When you first hit 100 posts, the star rating can go up and down quite quickly, but it should settle down in a day or two. Your posts look okay to me, so I'd say try not to be too disappointed, and keep posting quality responses.

No I have not been in those sections. I stay away from there just so I don't get bad ratings for not agreeing with someone. I don't think it is fair to be judged on what you believe. I would speak my mind and be hurt for saying how I felt. I am just a softy. I am super sensitive.

Yea it could have been I had one removed ones of my first that I hadn't read the guidelines yet.

Somebody MUST have been rating you negative for your star to be that low.
Don't worry, we'll try and help by rating you positive. We all should help each other here. I would like mine raised back to where it used to be, as well. It takes time, because you can only be rated a certain number of times in a day to prevent abuse, I think. Just not sure if that is overall, or by each user.

I see that is why it didnt move after 4 okay! I thought maybe it was stuck because it had not moved from 45 and people had told me they rated me!

8 now and I am hopefully gonna have more then that soon! I am shooting for blue! I am hoping that is doesn't take forever! I do believe that it probably will take some time but I am shooting for it!
