Something we all go through at some part of our lives. Working out, listening to music hanging out with my friends, helps me a lot. What about you guys? talking about it helps a lot, so go on. Let's see if we can help you guys get through.

I experienced a lot of depressions growing up especially during teenage years, I am 29 years old now and as I reflect on it, I was thinking it was a bit over-reaction on my part. For me depression is a decision, (unconsciously) because you can choose not to be depressed, if you let your self be depressed you will feel low, but if you think about it there are a lot of things that can occupy you and make you feel better and make you happy. I think the lesson there is, is that you have to think positively. No one can put down a positive thinker.

I go through depression phases every now and then, especially around my birthday and the summer. I try to occupy my mind with activities I usually enjoy doing- even though that sometimes doesn't work. On occassion I will cry and maybe throw something to get the physical aggravation out of my system, but I always try to remember my blessings in life. But I do think people who talk about it are better off than those who refuse to. Thank you for the discussion.
