I am fine Alias(sorry if I spelled wrong). The first thing came in my mind is the movie "Titanic". I really love cruise. Enjoying trip in a clear sea, in widely open skies, floating on the waves, hearing the sound of waves when they strike the cruise. really awesome! I have once been on a cruise in Goa. I was there with my cousins. I remember there was a DJ on it, we all were dancing. We played cricket on the deck. I have played cricket numerous times but playing on deck was really a great experience I felt like as if we were playing on water.

It was really enjoying. Goa is a small State in India. It is popular for beaches, night life, discos, casinos.

Wow that was cool. How many days was the cruise you had then? I bet that's really enjoying and relaxing. I always love the beach and the sea breeze! by the way, what continent is Goa? I know I can search it online but I feel like idle and i'm too idle to search it if indeed i can ask it here. LOL

I've been once to a something I could call a cruise. It wasn't very long trip, it also didn't feature staying on the deck of the ship, because it was early spring back then and we were sailing waters of the Baltic Sea, which is quite cold during the whole year. Anyway, I had a plenty of fun on board, there were lots of clubs and pubs, casinos, shops. I even had a chance to go to sauna and swim in a pool, so my time there was well spent.

Baltic Sea is situated in the Northern Europe. It is surrounded by Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland and the Baltic states: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. I think I've heard about that Magellan cruise, if I remember correctly it lasts quite long and offers very pleasing travel experience.

That's really cool! I want to go in to a long cruise too someday. What part is Baltic sea, by the way? Anyways, the clubs and pubs, casinos, shops sound real cool. Bu I think if you heard about Magellan residential cruise line, it is really great, I wish to try it someday. You can rent a room there, the lowest is for 2 weeks and I think it costs around $6000 depending upon the floor plans.

A cruise in the middle of the ocean is probably the last thing I would want to do. While I used to love white-water rafting, swimming, and all kinds of water sports, somehow being that far away from shore scares the willies out of me lol. Perhaps I've just seen Titantic movies too much?! I've been on other large boats, but only the kind that cruises you out into the lake. Not sure, but I always figure if I can see land then if there might be a problem at least I could maybe swim that far haha. My in-laws used to take a cruise once a year for many years, and my Mom's sister takes them. They always loved them and had a lot of fun. I would like to visit the places they port in at on their cruises though.

Alilin, I think you misunderstood or misread...I'm afraid of deep water, not driving, not going out of my house, not afraid of heights...only deep WATER. I canoe, kayak, swim and do other water sports. If you almost drowned as a child in deep water (as I almost did), you would probably have a similar fear, I would think that's a natural human response to that kind of trauma. I have very, very few fears, but deep water is one of them. Everybody that's human has one fear or another:-)

I have never been on a cruise. I think if I did go on one I would end up sea sick and not feel very good and be scared at the same time. Scared that the ship would sink or a bad storm would come and we would all be in danger so my answer is no I will never go on a cruise. I can just admire it from television.

I have always wanted to go on a cruise. I did have a couple of chances but passed them up. Mainly because I'm afraid I will get seasick...lol I have to take Dramamine for sea sickness when I go out on a boat...and the thought of taking it for days just doesn't sound appealing to me. Also if I was to get sick I would be stuck on the ship feeling miserable. And now there is that sickness that people get..I forget the name of it. My friends parents went on a few cruises and had a wonderful time..that is until 4 years ago. It seems half the ship got that sickness along with my friends mother. She managed to recover and was able to come home on the ship...but half the crew and other passengers were left in isolation on and island in the Caribbean...lol I just know if I go on a cruise it will turn out badly... So for now I'll just take day trips and leave my overnights on solid ground...hehe I may try a short one, I'm not giving up the idea altogether.

When I went to Goa (India) with my office colleagues, We went for a cruise trip of one hour and it was amazing. We were surrounded by water, cool breeze, the water sound apart from the dance and singing that was going on in the ship. Though it was only for one hour, we enjoyed every minute of it. I wish I go for at least two or three days cruise trip.

That would be a nice experience but it would probably be far too expensive! I guess it's the stuff of dreams, for me anyway! When I think of cruises I picture the Titanic and how grand and luxurious that was, it's a shame that we don't have it around as a museum today! Anyway, who knows what will take place in the future! Maybe I will muster the courage to go on a cruise in order to experience what it's like. Andrew

I've been on many cruises. The are a lot of fun because there is so much to do right on the ship. It is a great way to have a relaxing vacation. Everyone should choose a cruise as a mode of travel at least once. However, at this point in my life, I prefer to vacation somewhere that let's me mingle with the local people. Even though cruise ships stop at many ports, you never seem to have enough time in any one place to get the feel of the place. A good example, I toured the Greek isles which was absolutely fabulous. However, I had to fly back and just stay in a few of the places to really enjoy the culture.

Just like you, I've never had the opportunity to go on a cruise but it is definitely something that I've always wanted to do. My husband and I are planning on taking a cruise for our tenth anniversary because we both feel like the children will be old enough to stay at home with family and he and I will be able to enjoy our vacation without the children. We would like to take a Carribean cruise because of time constraints, but we would also like to eventually take an Austrailian cruise.

Definitely. it's actually my childhood dream. I really like travelling. Movies featuring accidents in the sea don't really discourage me since we dont really hear a lot of cruise ship-related news so I guess it's really very safe. Also, my not being able to swim don't discourage me. I am really afraid of travelling in the sea but te idea of island hopping and life on-board really excites me. I hope I get to experience that real soon. :D

My husband and I were watching a movie a few hours ago and we saw this very nice cruise and we planned to have one of our own one of these days. Thinking about it makes me wanna have some super powers and make time move faster. lol We will be preparing a big amount of money for that so we are starting to save for it already. It might be years away from its fulfillment but I hope it will com true. =)

I never got the chance to have a cruise or ride in a cruise ship. But if given the chance, I would like to have a Caribbean cruise. I always dream about this when it comes to ship cruising. European cruise could be great, too! There is this Magellan residential Cruise Line, too! A friend of me told me about it, and gave me a link to their homepage. I couldn't say anything but wow, my god.... it's just so nice. In the residential cruise ship, you can rent a room or floor plan as they call it the lowest is for 2 weeks that cost around $6000 depending upon the floor plan you chose. I would really love to try this!
