like most parents, i am one who is constantly on the look out for trainings and seminars and reading materials that can make me improve as a parent. i am no perfect person and therefore, it follows and i am no perfect parent. i am just thankful that i only have 1 baby yet, and only 11 months old so there is plenty of time for me to apply the knowledge, skills, and principles that I have learned. i love my child, but i don't want to love her the wrong way, such as spoiling her and giving her just materials things. i am a stay at home mom right now and i can really monitor her progress. but since i am also working at home, there are times that i have to leave her with the maid or somebody in the family for a few hours just so i could get the work done. i don't have a full time baby sitter and my husband is also working, so most of the work around the baby is on me. but i am happy to be able to do that. she is my primary ministry at the moment. i can only thank God for the parenting seminar that my husband and i attended yesterday. we had such a blessed time learning how to raise a godly child. how about you? would you grab these opportunities to attend parenting seminars? take care all and God bless you!

hello spoiled, Certainly i will my friend. As a mother of 3 kids,i thought handling them as they grow up is much easier when those years that they are younger. But i am totally wrong. The mere fact that, their world is also changing(set of friends, likes, and everything) My kids are not the babies i used to care before...that,when they cry it can be pacified with toys and candies. But as now that they're grown ups...it's hard to relate with them. i always try my best to understand and reach them. I even learn to like their songs...their trend, just to understand their feelings. But,it's not enough. So,any parents that claim that, they know their kids very well...i don't think so. I live my life caring my kids, but, everyday and each stage of their life differs from time to time,so,it's hard to say that,we know our kids that much. And,...if given a chance to attend a parenting seminar,i will gladly take the opportunity.
