Adobe Photoshop or Dreamweaver?

I'm planning to build my own website so I downloaded an Adobe Photoshop CS3. After that I ran the thing but it won't seem to open, I think it has an issue with my OS which is windows vista. So I opted for AP CS4 but I still have the same response, it still won't run. After searching through the web I finally found one that's compatible with my system, the program is called Dreamweaver. The trouble is in my opinion Dreamweaver is much more complicated than an Adobe Photoshop since I've used Adobe in the past before. Is there an AP that's really compatible with my OS so I can start with my fri***n website?

I use both of those programs on windows vista. Try installing it again and see if that works. You may have to download a patch or update for adobe as well for it to run on vista. When I purchased mine I can't remember if we had to do a patch or anything.

if you go to adobes website they should have the updates and patches there for download. I would look for one that says compatible with vista or something along those lines
