Would St. Louis Rams Really Take Sam Bradford With #1 Pick?

The St. Louis Rams taking Sam Bradford with the #1 pick is a story that's circulating, but I don't buy it. The Rams defense was ranked 32nd last year, that's last. Unfortunately, the offense wasn't much better, with a ranking of 31st. If the Rams pass on defensive tackle and consensus best player in the draft, Ndamukong Suh, I think Mel Kiper Jr. will propel himself out of the building. Bradford is coming off two shoulder injuries, and there will be free agent quarterbacks available, there won't be a player like Suh available in free agency or the draft.

They'd be better off with trying to trade down, and getting multiple first round picks. I say this, mostly because I hate seeing players who have so much potential, go to teams with so many problems like the rams. Sue isn't gonna make that defense top 15 by himself. Bradford isn't going to make the offense a force to be reckoned with. Both would struggle for a few seasons, and could end up as busts because of the lack of coaching and unrealistic expectations in that organization.

I think Suh can help the Rams defense along with young defenders Chris Long. I don't believe Sam Bradford would be able to help an offense with this many holes. They could trade down, because a lot of people want Suh, but I think they're afraid to.
