I have also read that in a magazine article. It is not right to drink tea while eating, I think it is not right to drink any liquid while eating as well. They said it's not good for digestion. I don't know exactly how that happens, but it's for the benefit of our health.

really?.. we'll I guess it is quite true, but not just tea. I have read from some article that any form of liquid or beverages, which is consumed while eating is really a "no no no" practice. According to some, drinking anything while eating will prevent proper digestion process and is really not a good health practice. So I guess not just tea, but any drinks should be avoided while eating even water. It is advisable to drink water or any kind of drink 1-2 hours before and after every meals. happy day...

As i learned from a friend it is not right to drink tea while eating. It should be an hour before eating whether lunch or dinner. I don't know the reason behind, but they said it is bad for digestion. I never do it since i learned from a Mylot friend. it is better to drink tea after eating an hour after. I always thought that drinking tea is good for digestion but it is not advisable to drink while eating .

i have found this, 1. drinking tea after eat can cause anemia. 2. drinking tea after eat inhibit Iron absorption in the body 3. tea leaves have a high acid content this causes the protein content in foods difficult to digest
