I like this version as much as I liked the old one. This may have been criticized by lots of people but I think this version just speak of the new trend and genre of music that we enjoy now. It got a taste of hiphop because of some raps and they were delivered well by the artists. I just hope though that the artists who participated in this song have truly internalized the song and they have given their personal donation to Haiti. :)

Hi rajaiv!^^ I've seen the video just last night and it was truly amazing! There were so many artists on it and I think they've done a great job on singing the song. It was also a good thing that they inserted some video clips of Michael Jackson. Aside from the video being intended for the Haiti victims, it became like a sort of tribute to the late MJ himself. It was really great. I also think the rap and hiphop parts were good innovations in the song. It was like a modernization thing. It was well done. I salute all the artists who were part of this. I'm sure lots of people will be inspired to donate more.^^

I totally agree with you. Having the video of MJ there was surely a tribute to the man who was once a mind of that incredible song. I just wonder why Beyonce was not there and Mariah. Well anyway, it was still a wonderful presentation.

Yes, I saw the world premiere on NBC last night, right before the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
