we lived in florida 26 years, and i am from West virginia and missed the snow for 26 years. we have been to vermont, to florida, to texas, and north and south dakota. I have always wanted to go to california. our goal is to put our motor home on a boat, and go to alaska for two months. everything is on hold now for 2 years as i am my mothers sole caregiver. she has terminal lung cancer.

Well, from Texas to all the way to Montana, it took me 3 days to get there. I stopped in different State Parks and some National Parks too. I saw lots and lots of wildlife (Buffalo, Elk, Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Pronghorn, Big Horned Sheep, Moose, Coyotes, and Wolves feeding on a female Elk, that was cool to see). It was an exciting trip and would love to go to Montana again.

I traveled with my Mom & Dad and my big Siberian Husky Haus. We took our RV, traveled through Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and to Montana. On the way back home to Texas, went through Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and to Texas. How many States have you been through?

I have been through 13 states in my travels. The most at one time would be from NC thru Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and into Michigan.

Woman Driving - Woman Driving
I never had the chance to drive fr long. I got my driver's licence in 1998 and I drove for almost 6 months. Till then I have driven no more. But the long that I have drove was the distance from my house till the bay that is about 20 kms. Not more!

When I was 5 my family drove from Chicago to Maryland then to Niagra Falls back to Chicago. I don't remember much of the trip (other then Niagra Falls) because I slept most of it. Then when I was 16 I went with my mother and her brother and sisters from Western Michigan to Southwestern Utah. It took us 2 1/2 days, driving 10-12 hours each of the first two days. It was a long trip squished behind my uncle in the car. Then I was 300+ miles from home in college and drove that every once in awhile to go home (mostly took the train) and after I moved away me and my husband drove back to the town every few months to visit his family. But I never really drove any of those trips. I have personally driven from Pittsburgh, Pa to Western Michigan alone with 3 kids in the car and most of the way from Pittsburgh to Chicago. It is a little over 500 miles.

One stretch, 365 KMs from Bangalore to Mangalore, 30% hilly region. with one stop for nature call. As you said travel is real fun and one gets excited looking at country side and forests, hills and valleys, waterfalls etc.

I drove from my home here in western NC to Fort Worth, Texas. It took 2 days there and 2 days back. Man, was that a looooong drive! At the time, my son was 12, so he couldn't help with the driving. We had a great time, but boy was I tired!
