slippery road, my folks taking over an hour to get home

With the big snow yesterday, the road is icy, and people rather not going out, instead, most people would rather be home. As job demanded, I have to work during the weekend, so is my father. Because the icy road, there are some cars spinning and lost control. I saw people are helping each other to push the car get through the icy road. My father tried to drive slowly, with 25 MPH and take about 1 and half hour to get home. For me, I also drove slowly, and try to be safe.
