PAST or PRESENT?

I have a friend who is really confused for this time. He was once very in love to a girl that he gave everything he could give just to make his girl happy and yet still hurted his feeling in the long run. The girl went abroad and there she found a boyfriend. It took years before my friend finally decided to let go of that girl as what they'd promised from each other that he will only let her go if she has a boyfriend when she comes back home. At present, my friend has a girlfriend now but he's not that in love as before.
Now, his past girl shows more efforts to him just to catch his attention now since she has just broke up with his boyfriend in abroad. My friend is confused because as they are communicating with his past, the feelings flashes back.
If you were to choose, who will you prefer: the one who ignored you and replaced you from a richer more handsome guy or the one who loves you wholeheartedly?

The one who loves me wholeheartedly, OF COURSE. You cannot play with someones emotions like that. It is rude and uncalled for. I really hope this friend of yours will not be so stupid as to take this girl back again. She will only hurt him again. TATA.

That's what I'm telling him Saphrina but he's not really sure of his feelings for his present girlfriend. His current girl was just his text mate before. I have noticed that the girl got the boy's siblings heart first before opening her real score to my friend. Physically, the past looks better, sexier and more beautiful than his present. That was why, it took 2 years before the girl made my friend answered her prayers, saying YES to her.

of course i will choose the present. love is when you love someone and she love you back. not just a hurt feeling when you love her but her is ignore you after you give her everything you can do. i hate that's girl, if she don't like just tell, doesn't use me.
