chinese new year, valentine's day

im sure restaurants today are not happy because 2 occasions fall in one day. the chinese new year and the valentine. and it also fell on a sunday when families usually gather and eat out.

I dont know about other countries but in my country, Valentines Day and Chinese New Year aren't really non-working holidays (from what I know) so I guess the worse case scenarion would be if tey are considered non-working holidays and yet both fall on the same date and on a sunday. Like you said, restaurants and other establishments would surely be crying as well as students wo would have had free days if the occassions hadn't fell on a sunday and on the same day lol..
