Making Apple Pies

I love Apple Pies!!! I can never make them from scratch. I have got so many recipes for them and how to make them. Do you know how long it takes to get this recipe down after several attempts? It is one of my favorites and I just can't seem to get it right it is so frustrating. Well maybe one day I will get it right!! Can you make an apple pie from scratch?

I've tried baking them twice and both were failures T.T I nailed the filling in the first attempt but the crust was undercooked while the in the second attempt, the crust was perfect but the filling was all mushy (I like the filling to have a bit of crispness). I haven't tried again because I'm too busy and my oven is inconsistent. The pastry dough is a tricky thing to work with especially in the tropics because of the humidity. Maybe I'll use crisper apples in the future :D

I have eaten one but I've never tried baking them. That's really hard for you wanting something that you can't get.. I just hope that you could make it though.. When you do . give me some okay? LOL.. :)
