Recently i have these two application in my USB drive, no matter how many times i delete(manually, or automatic using the antivirus) these two files, they kept coming back, again and again. I used Panda antivirus and updated everyday without fails. But it seems that it fails to clean the virus. So now, i would ask members of my lot for a better antivirus that can help me, to get rid of this virus??? and also, an antivirus that is also reliable against other virus attack. Thank you.

well, if your PC has a big memory i recommend for you McAfee because it is the leader in IT field. if no, i recommend for you Kaspersky or avast antiviruse. before that try antispyware softwares, i think they are able to delete the virus. also, you should use a firewall beside your antivirus.

Thank you. But i don't like mcafee coz its uses up too much of the memory, with my current OS(Vista) i don't think my memory is sufficient for Mc afee. I think i'll consider installing kapersky. They say its quite handy.

Not taken, I always wanted to buy kapersky, but i afraid that it might be useful only for awhile, and when a new virus comes up, it ended up with all other bunch of antivirus in the market. But for now, its better cure than sorry. I think i'll buy Kapersky. Tq

Phim Hot is a cloaked malware or worm. Most probably the virus creator used the same name as a known Rapidshare file to mislead users, or because they like Phim Hot, or for some other reasons. Phim Hot.exe is executed as a process, and be created during a process on the disk. Having this malware means your PC is open to further intrusion by other viruses. Avoid pirated software, and sites hosting pirated software.

Panda is trash, I had it for my first computer and it kept failing to remove virusses. Nod32 is the best in like 99% of the world's opinion. Sure it costs money but it does not cost any money for smart people. So for the love of your own computer and the computers you plug your usb into get yourself a better anti virus and remove the dang virusses.

Thank you bud. I know that searching for the best antivirus is a continuous effort. I have used almost a dozen computer now, and been using computers since MS DOS. and have used countless antivirus. I noticed that each year/ or couple of years, company, computer labs, organization, even individuals always look for new antivirus solution.

If your computer isn't detecting it or its not being removed then a good chance is its a window's application that is required for the computer to run properally. Some anti-virous programs get confused and will often mistak good applications for bad ones. So, during the restart process the computer has to re-install the program. However, every so often, as much of a pain this may be. reinstalling windows or whatever os may be your satulition. I use avg for my anti-virous and it actually does its job without slowing down my computer. So I suggest you look up avg free eddition which I use.

I used AVG free before, and since the computer too slow responsive, then i uninstalled it and used panda. AVG also have its own drawback in terms of antivirus detection.( i notice this when i compared the PAID version and the free one). When you used the free edition, the removal/scanning is rather slow and eats up alot of your memory, but if you use the paid, there is a different in computer performance. and the virus removal also better. thats why i stop using AVG and turn to panda. But now after using it for two years the program started be cranky.
