Usually when i wake up in the morning, i sit up and close my eyes for a little prayer, thanking God for a good night rest and hoping for guidance for the day to come. Then i would take my regular coffee and go straight outside the house and breath some morning fresh air and enjoy the morning sunlight, watch over the clouds and look through the horizon. Then i would do a little bit of stretching and then just sit comfortably on a chair while enjoying my cup of coffee. Then i would go and see my pets, talk with them and play with them for a while. i think mornings are the most gratifying moments of the day....... how about you?

Hi! The first thing I do in the morning is taking a bath, and then I eat breakfast running, because I have to rush to college. I wish I could have the time to do what you do in the morning, because it's very healthy having a calm morning. Oh well, I guess we can't have everything...

time is not a factor, it is more of wanting to do something worthwhile and gaining something positive from it.. time management at this early stage of your life would, i think, make a difference later in your life...

It is a must for us to start our day with a simple thanks giving prayer to GOD. So when I wake up a kneel down for a moment and give hanks to God for giving me another day and after that I also ask for his guidance. After praying I usually go to the kitchen to have a cup of coffee or tea before taking a shower.

It's really gratifying to express our gratitude especially at the moment we open our eyes when we wake up. Mornings are special for me as it really is really makes me calm with just seeing the sunrise, to begin the day with more energy and a fresh mind to cope up within the day... Happy MyLotting...

Usually my guy friend sleeps over so the TV is always on so I usually hear some show on EPSN on he puts the channel that the news comes on for me. So when I wake up I usually watch a little bit of the news until I realize what time it is and then I start to get ready. I am not a morning person where I like to wake up extra early just to lay around and take sweet time to get ready. I have to be at work at 10am so I usually wake up around 900am and leave by 930..

It is good that you have someone or something to wake you up... I used to just lay around and just be lazy in the morning, but as the years passed and as i grew older, i realized to enjoy every single day especially mornings...Happy MyLotting my dear friend..

I like your mornings...it seems like you enjoy mornings appreciating God's gifts to us. In my case, I'm a person who sleeps very late and wakes up late too. I usually got up of bed around 10AM, and the first thing I do is say a simple prayer and fix my bed then brush my teeth and I also urinate and flush the toilet. I eat breakfast then pick up my neices in their school and then come back home again then open the computer and surf the web. It is a daily routine for me. Nice topic you started here obe212003...happy mylotting.

That was my same routine before..sleeping up late and waking up late, kids, house, work... but then i realized 'a day' would be more meaningful if you would be able to see the sunrise feeling its warmth as the cool morning air touches your skin.. as if starting the day just right to motivate me to do things that i should within the day... anyways, happy MyLotting my friend!

It's better to stumble in your bed than in the bathroom, lol... anyways, if you would 'try hard' to wake up early in the morning and probably do that for two or three days, your body would have a certain body clock that will somehow tend to make you wake up that same time in the morning...
