Have you been reunited?

Yes, I had a similar experience just 2 days ago. I am a Filipina who is working in Dubai right now. Through facebook, I got a chance to communicate with one of my highschool friend. We met 2 nights ago after 10 long years of not seeing each other. It was really fun seeing someone close to you in a foreign land. We took some pictures and posted it through facebook so that we could share it to our friends whom we are looking forward to see when we will be going home for a vacation. Yay, I did had a great time with my long lost friend. Thanks to Facebook for giving us the chance to be reunited.

Yeah, I did come to know of some classmates and friends that I have lost contact with long time ago. It's quite good to see their updates in facebook. Of course, some of them are actually overseas so we can't really meet them up but at least a form of contact is established through facebook.

When I opened my Facebook account it was mainly to keep in touch with family and friends. I was amazed to find so many old friends there, people I had lost touch with over the years. I was even more surprised when I received a friend request from an old mate I used to work with some 12 years ago

I don't think I have a Facebook account, but it would be the only social networking site that I'm not already part of. Everyone says it's a fun place to hang out.

I rarly go on face book now but when i did go on it alot i did get back intouch with alot of my old school friends as well as alot of the people i used to work with in my previous jobs.My husband has got intouch with alot of his family that he has only ever seen once as well as the ones that he has never met as well.I think that it is great that you have a site where you get find family as well as friends that you have not seen in a long time.
