well, this story teaches me to be always grateful to God for His blessings and what He had given to me and not complaining so much... there are other less fortunate people than me in this world and often i see them have a much brighter look on life and they don't complain much... so i should be ashamed of myself and learn from them... take care and have a nice day...

That's an inspiring story, fiction or no fiction. Knowing that others have bigger problems means that we are not alone in facing and having difficulties in life. And it is very important to be able to be patient in dealing with the different facets in life. I couldn't agree more..

Thanks for the response, yes you are right everyone has problems its how you see them and how you face the problem is what is important, and when you count gods blessing you will be grateful to god rather than complaining

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes when one feels down, there's no one to turn to but to God.

who is anyone to decide what problem is too big or small for someone else. you have to walk a mile in a person's shoes. if you get hit with the same bat, you may not hurt as bad. the other person might not. should they respond like it doesn't hurt them, just because it doesn't hurt you? everything has a two sides to it.

It's telling me that many have more serious problems than I do. But our own problems seem to be big. It is only when we are aware of what others going through that we realize how good we actually have it. Nevertheless, we don't like problems and look forward to the day when all problems will be gone.

Hello Rubypatson, It tells me that this guy was blessed to have an angel appear to him and then he had the possibility to find out that HE, HIMSELF, picked that parcel as his problems. It means that we're never given something we cant handle. This is my opinion and I hope I havent offended anyone by saying this. Thank you!

I believe that if we keep on complaining the more complicated everything gets.. If you don't do anything you concentrate well. You won't have this kinds of problems, instead you make better to become a better person.. :)

hi rubypatson This story says that you should not complain about your own problems until you look around and see the person sitting in that wheelchair who cannot walk, or the man across the room who is blind, and you thank God you can walk and can see, or the little woman who uses signb language because she had cancer of the vocal cords, and cannot talk. You now see you can walk, you can see and you can talk, so what the heck was that problem? you think forget it.

the story is telling to count your blessings. this guy needs to see how blessed he is compare to others and he needs to appreciate the things that he has. before you think of something unkind to say, think of someone who cant speak. there are more in life that the eye cant see.... like the care and the love that family and friends give. just looking at the faces of people who cares for you is important and a blessing as well.

The guy in this story is kinda like me because I always think that way but in reality when I look at other's life they have problems much worse than what my problems are. There are so many people out there who are more unfortunate than many of us.
