I had a hard day at work, and i was already looking forward to going home. I thought i had already enough stress for the day, until i rode the jeepney and felt something wet. when i moved down the seat, I realized that I got my period, and i had a huge stain at the back of my skirt. Other passengers inside the jeepney kept on making comments about the stains beside me. I pretended it wasn't mine and acted nonchalantly when they asked if i had any idea who left the stain. All the while, I just wanted the earth to swallow me whole. When we arrived at my stop, I got off the jeepney as quickly as i could. I could hear the passengers saying "its her stain" behind me. I covered my butt with my bag, and quickly ran to house. It was very embarrassing, but i'm glad i'll never get to see those passengers again. how about you ...do you have some embarrassing moment like this? thanks for dropping by..

huh! that's really kinda embarrassing! but anyway, just like what you have said, its a good thing that you will not be seeing them again! haha well, i don't really have such embarrassing experience that involves my period, except when i first had it when i was still on my 6th grade. it arrives when i am in school and i remember that time my teacher ask me to round and send a letter to other teachers...and i feel kinda sick & so i sit on the stairs of our stage, when i get up i saw some blood on there and my classmate saw that as well, its kinda embarrassing coz i don't really expect it and the fact that someone saw it makes me a bit embarrassed... but aside from that no more stain accidents for me again. but i remember, one of my friend, actually not really close friend, she's in my house, and she had a period, she didn't know that there's already a stain on her pants & what's worst is that he stained in our chair! haha she really feel embarrassed seeing that coz my husband is also there as well, who also saw that. haha she really blushed & my husband somehow feel embarrassed as well for he i think so he just move away... after that, the girl becomes a bit uncomfortable everytime she saw my husband and me as well...

ckyera, my professor once said that if you had your period too early, you will have your menopause at a later time. On the other hand, if you had your first period late, menopause will come at an early age. Ironic, isn't it?

hello novel, Well...this really made me smile. Good thing for you,you will not be seeing those passengers again(ugh!) But for me,it was really embarrassing and would always be Last Sunday,i had an emergency meeting,so,i rushed to the meeting place, not knowing that my period also rushing(hahaha) I was very confident with my report,(too confident..huhuhu) Not knowing that,i had stains on my denim skirt(thanks it's denim,so it looks like water only, but girls knew what really it is) Then, after 10 mins or more,i gracefully walk back into my seat and my lady friend whispered "you had stains...so better go directly at the cr now, whew!) Stains...ok fine, there's a comfort room, but where's the pad anyway? Can anyone rescue me?...good riddance, one girl handed me a pad(thanks heaven) This girly thing...funny experience...at my age

novelcai oh yes it was just about as embarrassing, I got dressed, finished my breakfast and decided to walk to Trader joes, just a long block down the street from my apt. then. I had made arrangements with access bus to bring me back with my groceries. well I hurried down the street, met several people and just nodded to them. nobody spoke to me, which I felt was odd. then as I entered the mall where trader Joes was a pleasant looking lady in a fairly new car, pulled alongside me. she gestured to me so I went over to her.she said very quietly, maam I did not want you embarrassed so had to tell you, your denim skirt hem is caught up in the band of your panties. I thanked her, my face burning red, and quickly undid my skirt. I had walked all that way with my bare as@ showing and not one person had been kind enough to tell me I was exposing my whole rear end but the lady in the car.If I had known that on the way to the store I could have rescued some of my pride.

Oh my, that was really embarrassing! May I just ask you one thing? Don't you count the days before your period? Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming you or anything. I just think it's a good idea to count the days of your menstrual cycle so this doesn't happen again. But if your period is irregular, you could try wearing panty liners so that even if your period comes without you expecting it, you wouldn't get any stain, or at least not that much stain. But if you would wear panty liners, remember that you have to change it every 2 hours. That's what my sister's ob-gyne told her.

Some of us never have regular periods. Mine only got regular when I left 50 behind. But did you know that us gals tend to "come on" in synch? So if you're on a bus with a load of other women, your hormones can fall into line with theirs - even if it's not "that time" of the month.

@novelcai: I'm glad that you're always ready now. I hope I was able to help even in a small way. @jazzsue58: I've heard about women having the same days of menstrual period, those women who are always together. It's really intriguing. Do you know why this happens?

Novelcai, that is really awkward. I haven't had a big blushing moment regarding my period. But my classmate had a similar experience to the one mentioned above. I think it was her first period so she didn't expect it. When she stood there was blood on the white monobloc chair she sat on. And then I saw the back of her skirt, and it had a REALLY huge stain on it, the size of my palm. Good thing nobody noticed it other than me and my other classmate, so we were able to get her out of it.

Oh dear, nothing like that happened to me, but to tell you the most embarrassing moment to me was...when I was about 16 years old, me and my mother and sister went to this party in our town. Everyone we knew was there, school friends, neighbours, boyfriend, you name it. And my dad decide to go to the party too, only he was too drunk, we made sure we put him in bed before we went. But later he got there so drunk he could hardly walk. Let me tell you if I had a hole on the ground I would have jumped in it to hide away. I was so ashamed of him, I didn't even want to go to school until people forgot about it. So here is my most embarrassed moment!lol

ahhh, yes I think every woman has had that moment at least once in her life. Mine was when I was in high school, I knew my period was on so I went to school prepared. When I went to my math class I picked a desked like I usually do and the chair happened to be a yellow plastic chair. I kept feeling wet and when I kind of moved to see if it was what I thought it was, to my horror almost the whole seat was covered. I sat in the front of the class so there was no way to get up with out everyone including the teacher looking. I waited until the class was over and made sure I was the last to leave, my pants were soaked and the chair was horrible. There was no way I could go the rest of the day like that so I had to go to the nurses office to call my home. It was so embarrasing telling the nurse what I was there for and then repeating it again to my mother! As I was walking out the school I passed by the classroom and saw the teacher had moved my desk that I was sitting in aside and put a napkin over it. SOOO embarrassing! now I can look back and smile but I think my smile is still out of embarrasment :)

oh.i dont have an embarassing moment like that but i have one when i was about ten years old when me and my mom is going back to manila from our province,we took a bus ride which would take four hour to reach the destination.since there are a lot of vendors selling foods along the way i kept on eating everytime i see someone selling foods and by the time the trip is already halfway to the destination i felt my stomach is going to burst some popoo and i cant really take a hold on it until it all blasted inside the airconditioned bus which also filled by the bad smell and made the driver to halt the trip for about half an hour with me trying to hide what i have done but still the smell points me out so i try to look for a comfort room to change pants and clean up.

Good thing for you it was just a bloody ride your home.. I was in my junior in high school getting ready for prom... I was wearing a very simple long white dress that fits me okay.. I was so excited on going to the hotel. I was praying the whole week before that, I don't like to have my period during prom... When we were on our way to the venue, we just got out of the taxi and my classmates told me.. I had blood on my back.. I don't know what to do.. I got so dizzy getting up the elevator because I was so afraid and nervous..my friend brought extra pads so I used it.. When I went out it was my time for our entrance and there I was walking on the aisle, with my dress twisted so that they won't see the blood stain.. ahahha in the end..I had fun.. I just don't want to think about it anymore...
