What can be the replacement of your laptop

Do you expect any replacement of your laptop, yes my question is this. earlier we were vry comfortable with our desktop but today it seems to bulky and lappy has changed the era.
so what you expect next.i think we still want the big screens. but what about the weight and power. what are your immaginations.

I think that the replacement for laptops will be the netbook. I got one for Christmas and love it. They are lightweight and extremely portable. Plus you don't have to be wired for using the internet.
Then, after the net book will be the tablet computer. I would have asked for one of those except for the expense. One day we probably will have computers installed in our brains when we're born...it'll be interesting what you do to the computer if you sneeze or pass wind!

Well there are many options like notebook, tablet PC as suggested in above response, the next I guess will be our cell phones with more enhanced technology with inbuilt functionality of computers or there can be many other options, like I have seen in one of my forwarded email where you have a kind of laser pen, projecting the keyboard and a screen where in you can use the same as your laptop or desktop. Technology has no end, we can't even imagine what is there in the future and it will be surely more comfartable that laptops.

thanks for the response.
but i was expecting some new ideas and imagination.
i have one as we can have a foldable kind of screen which can be used anywhere where ever we want to use it and it will not require any kind of keyboard at all.
it will take the input from the user by touching the flexible screen. or it can be a 3 Dimensional screen device too..
