is it possible for ex-lovers to be friends? i went to meet my ex-boyfriend and for sure there is nothing more going on between us(emotionally), but i'm really starting to like him as a friend. the problem is there is a tendency for us to treat each other as more than a friend when we are together even though it is clear that we can be nothing more than friends.it does not feel right since we are both in a relationship with other people. what do you think is the best way to handle the situation?

Yes you can continue the relation as a friend. It's ok. But if your ex friend try to make something else then you should not continue. Because then he will be success to make something else. As you will consider him as a friend so whatever he wants you will do. And slowly slowly the relation will be deep. So to do something think about it carefully.

Yes, Of course it's possible because my I broke up my relation with my ex boyfriend 3 years before but today he is my best friend I have another and he knows every thing about my current boyfriend. he always gives good advices to keep my relation healthy. so I surely can say it's possible.

I think it's great to be able to remain friends, so long as it remains as just friends. If you are both in relationships with others, then the difficulty arises that you could risk upsetting your new partners. Stay as friends if you can.
