Yesterday, when I watch the news update, I've seen lots of people wearing black jacket with mask conducting protest against Vancouver Winter Olympics in Canada, They say's that its a multi-billion dollar industry run by an elite group who sell the five rings to the highest bidder using sports as a platform for corporate advertising and their main goal is profit. Even Canada is belong to first world, some groups do to disrupt their system of government to gain profit, how true is it?

No matter what, you will still have a bunch of idiots who will complain about EVERYTHING! Oh boo hoo, the organisation running the olympics are only interested in making a profit. Tell us something we don't know. That's the way this world works I'm afraid, everybody just wants to make as much money out of it as they can. But I don't see why they would be complaining against the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Who cares if corporations are profiting from it? It's a truly monumentous event that highlights a certain city and brings with it tourism and global attention. Instead of protesting, they should be happy that their city is finally in the spotlight

Anyway, that's their problem, protest are considered normal when the problem occurs specially in mismanagement on what to be the first or priority for better improvement, earning profit is fine because its business, protesters complaint because they think or focus on the different angle, I think its better to obey what the government is decided.

what they are complaining against is the amount of money being spent on the Olympics in Vancouver while 'forgetting' the other problems that Vancouver has. with any big city, homelessness is a huge factor and Vancouver is no exception. it is probably worse there because the cost of living in Vancouver is actually higher than almost any where else in the country!

I am not sure about these things much. but as for as i know i think there must not be any kind of disruption against any event which can be cause of peace and brotherhood. i think there must be some official level honesty and probe now.

Really, is that true? I havent seen that news. Maybe there is a truth behind those accusations. If you would think about it, there is a possibility that they make profit out of it. But let us also see the positive side about it, many worldwide atlete benefit from the sports competition and maybe support some charity institutions.
