my hair is slowly vanishing so my wife uses aloe vera on my scalp. around twice a week maybe or more. it gives this cooling effect that i find very relaxing. so i went on the net to read about aloe vera and into my surprise aloe vera is not just for the hair. it is also for the skin and it treats a lot of different things in and out of our body. it has a lot of medicinal properties and it is called miracle plant. use also for intestinal worms, digestive disorders, and use for skin to fight acne and used on comestics for the skin will stay young and smooth. now that is something i learn.

I think there's aloa vera in my tooth paste. It's very, very green but seems to work, as I don't have any cavities. At least I usually don't have any cavities, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow to check *crosses fingers* I also have an aloe vera spray for my horse, I use it when he gets stung by insects.

Aloe Vera usually is used as active ingredient in skin care product. But then shampoo manufacturer also put some in their products to make our scalp feel good while shampooing , since i am sure you want not only to clean your dirty hair, you also want to feel good too. You can find many skin lotion had this ingredient in them.

I use an aloe vera lotion to sooth sore or sunburnt skin, it works very quickly and very well. I have also used aloe vera on cuts and grazes for healing, again it works quickly.

Oh yes!! When I was growing up, my parents used aloe vera all the time - so that's how I know about it. We had an aloe plant growing in our backyard - and we used to use it as "ointment" - like whenever we had a cut or burn. These days I buy aloe vera gel (as pure as possible) and keep it on hand in the medicine cabinet. We use it mostly to treat sunburns or burns from the kitchen - hee hee!! I do use aloe juice on my face as a toner after cleaning my face (juice - because it spreads over better than gel). Aloe has a lot of great uses . . . so glad you learned about it!
