Many of us have household robots that vacuum the floors (roomba)and there are a lot of robots out there that cleans the pool. In Japan they have household robots I'm told that does a lot more jobs around the house. If you could have a robot to do one household chore you hate what would it be? I'll start. I would get a robot to fold the laundry.

I can't have a roomba, my dog would tear it apart--I have to shut him in a separate room when I vacuum because he thinks it's a monster that he has to kill! I would like to have a robot that would clean around my baseboards and be able to clean my steps leading up to the second floor. It would have to be dog-proof. That, or very quiet because I think it's the noise that bothers Gus the most!

Gus is so much entertainment!! This vacuum business is the only thing he is picky about. My ex and I adopted him in August of 2001. Shortly after that there was that terrible massacre in New York and 1 year old Gus--so full of energy!--sat there with me as the news unfolded and my sons arose from their beds to get ready for school. Should I let them go?! He went to each child, sniffed and kissed then went to the door and jumped up and barked. He knew they would be safe. Sure, he's full of crap, he's flatulent, he manipulates--but now that I'm divorced and 1800 miles from my ex and my children, he and Cookie are pretty much all I have. He knows when I need someone to talk to. Yep, he's funny with the vacuum! But even my Ex loves him, he has such a good soul. And he does manipulate me. I think I'm the winner here.

Well we know who runs you house. It's a shame how we let our pets take over. For unconditional love we put up with anything.

Im waiting for them to come out with one who can cook. Oh that would be great. Im hoping we'd be able to let it know what foods we like and then it would come up with recipes and all we'd have to do is sit and eat. Of course, if it can cook, I sure hope it'll do the dishes and clean up after LOL. Not sure if this will ever happen!!!

Well we already have dishwashers. But a cooking robot sound great. Can have dinner parties with a few hours notice. Spoil the kiddies even more. The future is now.
