There was this one time that I saved my game, but when I went to play it the next day I was where I was yesterday,it was the Sims 2 game for PS2,I built a house and did all these goals and saved the game.I didn't touch the memory card or the controller or anything. The next day it just left me off like I never saved it!I had to do everything all over again, has this ever happened to you?

It used to happen to me all the time in the good old days of memory cards I would save a game and return to it the next day, only to find that the game had completely forgotten about the fact that I HAD SAVED THE DAMN THING, forcing me to re-play through stuff I had already done all over again

I've had that happen before, but not recently. Sometimes you might accidently turn off the console before it finishes saving. Or you think you've saved but haven't. If you actually know that you've saved then I don't know what happened. It's really annoying when you've done a lot in a game and then to have to start over again. Save systems in video games can be pretty dumb sometimes!

Yes this has happended to me a few times. It's pretty annoying when you think your game is saved, then you go back and noticed it wasn't saved. I can only assume it was an I/O error between the console and memory card. Its nice that the newer consoles use harddrives for storage now. Although some of them still use memory cards.
