what's your take on public male figures who went wayward from their wives publicly apologizing? do you envision a public woman doing this? i know there hasn't been a female figure who had publicly humiliated a husband via an affair. the only person i can think of was angelina jolie who wrecked a marriage and...so we know how she is still famous and an icon. well, there was the rumor of carolyn kennedy-schlossberg but she just backed out of an election and publicly painted a picture of how fickle women really are...
but then again, do you ever see a woman publicly apologizing for being promiscuous?

I have never seen a woman publicly apologize for an affair. I think that men and women are equal though, and so if there is a woman who is having an affair she should apologize just as publicly as she would have wanted her husband or boyfriend to apologize if they had been the one to be unfaithful.

yes, you're correct. men and women both are on the same level when it comes to choosing to commit the same mistakes. it's just that, you know, had it been a female relative of mine who did the apologizing publicly because of an affair, wow...i think that would be the time when i wouldn't want anything to do with her anymore. i know it might sound an injustice but it's just that women are treated in a special way that we have guys being taught special manners to show to a woman. then women are also capable of degrading themselves like that? peace

i think you're very right that he should talk also to his wife privately. maybe tiger woods would apologize publicly to the people who put him on a pedestal and yet he still got to betray them in a selfish, stupid way.
