Left behind series

Has anyone read the Left Behind series of books, first of all what did you think of them? I just found them in a Goodwill store for 99cents a piece, and bought them. I got all that they had, which ranged from #1 to #9, problem is I dont' have a #8 and I have looked every where for this book, does anyone know if there is a #8 and what is it called, or is #9 just the repeat of all that has happen throught the series. I really enjoyed reading these books and makes you stop and think a lot about what happens in Revelations. They maybe fiction, but very interesting to read.

I read the books like a couple of years ago. I forgot what number I stopped, but I remember that I only stopped reading because I couldn't find the next book in any of the bookstores. 
Anyway, the story is really good, and you're right, it would really make you think of the book of revelations, and if you are going to be saved or not, and it makes you just take a step back and look at your life.

Did you know there are Left Behind movies? They are based on the books, and although I haven't seen them myself, I have heard they are pretty good. I looked it up, and there are eleven books in the series total. The books did very well in the secular market, as they reached number one on The New York Times list.

Yes I have the two, Left Behind and Tribulation Force, but have not looked at them yet wanted to finish the books first. I have the first 7 books, but understand from looking here on the web there are several more in the series or another series after the first. It containsThe Mark, Desseration, The Remnant, Armageddon, Glorious Appearing so looks like to find. i hear the movies are very good.
