why do you need a drivers license to buy liquior when u can drink and drive??

To prove your age to the seller, simple, why would you confuse it with anything.

You should never drink and drive. That is the unsafest thing to do. Innocent people normally get hurt threw this. And you have to show your license so they can make sure you are 18 or older. Depending from what country you are.

What do you mean? You need the driver's license to prove your age. If you are drinking too much why would you consider driving a car?
