scared to use public computers!!

hi all. last year i went to internet cafe..not to use internet but to get my cv typed and tooks its printout..but after few days i received one mail from one famous job provider site along with my cv and asking me make editions if i want to..i was shocked how these people got all my personal information..since then i don't use public computers. but if i have to , then what precautions i should take?

The most important thing about using the computers is to check what type of software’s they are running. Do they have a good antivirus program? It is quite possible that there can be spy wares on their computers. Do they have any logger program running in the background. And most important thing, try to delete the cookies, temp files and any other kind of information from their computer which can have your private data. I prefer using firefox when I use computers in café because I can very easily clear the data.
