Hi to all. Has anyone ever suffered from territorial ants or insects generally? The ants here were nasty. They turn out in every corner of my world. My printer-scanner had ants in it so with the dirt.
I removed them with difficulty. It was too late when I found out. I had to unscrew with patience then wipe the inside of the scanner with utmost care. So far the ants didn't cut a single wire and the scanner work still.
I dont understand why ants do it although they have mercy for sparing the essential parts. So with my monitor screen! they just got into the desktop now although they are dead! how am I supposed to remove ants inside the screen? They got my hard disk to! I removed the cpu cover to find tens of red ants marching the hard drive! are they making a joke?

You can try using insect chalk. Just draw a line around your territory like a military general drawing a warzone DMZ and the chemicals of the chalk will prevent them from crossing to your camp.

as far as i know, ants don't just crawl into computers and monitors. it's either something attracted them there or drove them to go there. you know, cowboyofhell, water can drive ants to seek dry places. another, sweets and candies attract ants. do you eat chocolates or candies while on your computer? or is there an ant colony that got drenched, which is near your computer, driving them to seek the warmth of your cpu or monitor?

the ants were like desperate people who goes to the best places, like people who wish to land in america. with their little heads they still think like humans. i wonder if they are happier to go somewhere else than my printer, monitor, and hard disk. theres an ant yet preserved in my monitor at the lower right part but none at the center.

ok I admit i had eaten bread and chocolates before upstairs though the latter only about last week. yeah they also had my keyboard before but in the keyboard they got the what you call this is it silicon padding? idk but they even lived on my keyboard. i brushed the ants at the hard drive and they were few so i hadn't any trouble but now im planning to check again my cpu and keyboard for ants for they are so abundant and cannot be stopped.

My friend had the same problem when he had a mini anthill under his computer table! I would recommend you to open all the CPU cover and remove all the parts inside and then, make sure no ants are alive there. Then, move your whole computer away from that place and then, pour BOILING WATER if you can find the nest! Call the Pest Control!
