what will you do if?

What will you do if you are in a sinking ship with your girfriend and there is only one life vest? Will you pretend to be Jack in 'Titanic' and die for love? or will you just use the vest and allow your girfriend to die? For me, I'll let her have the vest afterall I love her.

Frankly speaking i will go with second option. Why should i die for her i'm not fool like the jack in titanic movie does...

Seriously, I really don't know... I admit that I am not as great and noble as Jack. However, this can be a test to see if you really love your girlfriend that much to want to die for her. On the other hand, I will willingly die for my mother or wife if need to. They are both related and close to me.
