After 25 years, the song composed by L. Richie and MJ for the starving people of Africa has a new version with new line up of artists/singers, and this new version is for the people of Haiti recently struck by earthquake. Anybody heard or watched We are the World-25 for Haiti with a new rapping adlib? Did it convey the real message as that of the original one?

Hi there sardonyx811... I have already started a discussion about this one before, you could see the discussion and participate also with the discussion here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2254352.aspx By the way, it is only stated at myLot's guidelines that you must search first for existing discussions before starting one... In this case, this would somehow be considered as a "REPOST"... Anyways, happy myLotting~

Aw ok, no problem. In that case i'd rather say the rhythm of the original version trends with the style of the 80s whereas this new version it goes along with hip hop era. On my part, it did convey what it wants to tell the world for as long as you give credits to the lyrics.
