What are your beliefs on hauntings, and supernatural energies? Do they exist?

Must be for because of the high ratings each time that there have been quite a number of TV shows on haunting and the supernatural. I think that like you said, as a 13 year old, you were curious. I think most people are like that too, and some have even joined paranormal groups, which if personally for me, I won't join..but to each his own. I sometimes watch those shows and I wonder too..

For one; great discussion! To me anyway! I watch these shows all the time, I love them. Do I myself believe that there is such a thing as "ghost" or wondering sprites? Yes I do. What ever it is you want to call them. I think that people that are more on the spritualy side tend to exsperince things because, they are more intune with it. I think the question "Do they exist?" it really depends on who you ask. Some swear they do, others say there is no way. To be honest I think it's religiously linked. But, that is just my opinion.I hope that there is such a thing. I sure just don't want to cease to exist.I am a firm believer in God and, I would hope there is an after life.

Something is only "supernatural" untill it has a natural explanation for it. disease was once considered supernatural, now that we know the science behind it it is just "natural" to us. I believe there science based explanations for hauntings. It has already been demonstrated that ELF (extremely low frequencies) can have a dramtic effect on the human body and mind. These are sounds that are below the threshold of human hearing itself but is still noticed bu the body. These can occure naturaly in areas or artificialy for various reasons. electromagnetic energy also has similar effects and can also occure naturaly in the environment or are artificialy induced in plumbing, electrical wiring, apliences etc. There are scientific reasons that explain haunting phenominon and I strongly suspect that in 50 years time, hauntings will be considered no more supernatural than disease is today.

I dont believe in such things but there are people who believe.Its just mans thoughts.Some people, usually religious heads tells such things for their own profit.

I don't believe in ghosts or supernatural energy. I think why would we be floating about after we die. We always fear the unknown and people do have very vivid imaginations. Most of the things that were considered bad magic from long ago are explained now with science and I think things which are mysteries now will be equally explained in the future.

We should have a farsighted goodness to form our younger generation. We should distinguish yes between psychology para normal and supernatural. The term "supernatural" , in practice we intend genuine Godly. Para normal is an expression of beyond normal and in practical we may not attribute to God. A few years ago the TV would transmit TV serials on devil haunting witchcraft, exorcism etc. But we must think what effect does it make on children psyche. After all the society plays a great role in our formation and belief system. It depends upon also on our character Drives inner disposition emotions expression. One may be susceptible, one may be atheist one may be a slave to believe literally and get affected or haunted. In today's society psychology plays a great role. What was once spiritual today it is psychological. But the good and evil exists But we must be humans fully with the head on the shoulders and the feet on the floor rather than go to sensational emotions and become mentally insane.

I beleve in spirits not Ghosts. Say the word ghosts to me and I either think of the Patrick Swayse film or Casper The Friendly ghost. I believe in spirits.when we die we become spirits. The suol leaves the body. And some of us return in our spirit form. that's the energy people sense in certain places.

Have you ever dared yourself to go to haunted house? or Go to places that you know have ghost? I have, I dared myself (its my office actually, LOL) Haunting starts at 10 pm, (I think the time they punch in for work) daily I don't know why but everytime i am in my office during that time, there will be footsteps, people talking, door slams, and lot sorts of sounds that you wouldn't hear at that time. Since my office have CCTV in most places, i did ask the security to play the recordings at the time of the occurrence, but there was no one. There also no record of people going in ot out of the office building before i went out. So i assumed that it was time for their shift to start, so i better give them room to work, LOL. Seriously, this is happening in my office, and i don't care less about it.

I have wonder about that also, but one thing I can tell I have never had those kinds of experiences, and that is why for me is a little bit difficult to understand those things. As I said many times before, I don't believe in something that can be scientifically proved, and those things haven't been, even when there are some serious research about it, nothing has been really conclusive about the subject.
