The whole week I have been going out and trying my luck with a few companies. Just my luck two companies in which I applied for gave me a job offer. The thing is, one is for a dayshift but has a lower basic salary but has bonus to compensate for the low basic. The other is a night shift but has a high offer for me. The thing is I want to save up and the only way to do that is go for the higher paying job but the night shift is so hard to work with. So I have a dilemma on which one to go for--night shift with a high paying salary or a day shift that has an okay salary? Need your help or your thoughts on this to help me choose which one. Any suggestions are welcome.

I guess it depends on the job. Or it depends if you can make it :) Is this a call center? Maybe you can try the night shift for now and earn money. After a year or so, you can look for another job that would give you more. At least you have an additional experience in your resume :)

Hi pierrella! I really do not need the experience since I have more than 4 years of experience already. I am still in a state of confusion since tonight is the first night for the night shift job and I still do not know if I will show up or what.

Hey, Hmm.. u got to look at couple of things before choosing the right job. First see that whether the job is suiting to your qualifications and the experience which u want to get and which will help u in yr future. Sometimes in order to earn more, people tend to shift from their own original line and later they repent. SO be careful about that. Personally I always wanted to work in day time. Night is for sleeping and it doesn't suit me. I do work late in the night hours say till mid night but after that i go and get myself a good 8 hrs nap. Keeps my body healthy. Good luck! Cheers, Tutul

Hi tutul0045! Thanks for responding. Indeed you are correct, night hours are for sleeping and indeed I go for dayshift more than the night shift. I am carefully weighing my options on what it will benefit me in the future. I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks again!
