This is way overdue. Usually, entertainment is the only thing we get from American Idol, but this year we actually got a little food for thought along with great music.
This year, we were graced with the presence of Gen. Larry Platt, with his song called "Pants on the Ground". It embodies what many of us have been saying for years, get your damn pants up on your @$$ boy!!! If you haven't seen it yet, here is the link to the YouTube video:

Although at 62, Gen. Platt never had a chance of going to Hollywood, that was never the purpose of him going to "audition". The message has been sent across the nation, and it has spread like wildfire. Everyone and their dad is coming out with their own versions of "Pants on the Ground". The song is fun and catchy; but at the core lies a true message that is spreading. Even Brett Farve and Jimmy Fallon have been caught singing the song.
I really hope this is a movement that catches on. Finally, we may stop having to look at buttcracks and dirty underwear everytime we leave the house, all in the name of so-called style. So what do you think of this song? Have you heard it yet?

Hdy drknlvly! I heard the Gen. singing it on American Idol
tryouts and I thought it was one of the greatest songs ever! He
was so on the moneeayay! He is one very smart guy and deserves
alot of credit for having the smarts and the nerve to go on
national tv and singing those words that we all have thought so
many times when we see these kids with their pants down around
their azzes! I love him! I think he should be given some kind
of award for this song! Every time I see a kid with their pants
on the ground I have felt the same way as Gen. Larry Platt and
he expressed it so right on! I hope that someone gives him the
patent for the song and the money he deserves for writing those
lyrics that we all agree make so much sense! Go Gen. Larry!
