Wake Up at Midnite and I can't sleep again !! Help Please !!

do you have same experience with me?wake up at midnite and can't sleep again.ussualy I wake up for urinate if you have same experience with me,please tell me.. how to go sleep easier after I wake up at midnite,any tips? Good Luck

I dun have the problem of sleeping actually. When i meet my bed and pillow, I can easily fell asleep in 2-3 minutes. LOL Most of the time, I never wake up in the middle of the night for urinating. Well, it happened sometimes, because i drank too much water and I forgot to turn off my AC. I never sleep with air con turned on. I usually turn it on before i sleep and when the room gets cooler, i will turn it off and go to bed. I don't think AC is good for health. Well, about your problem, you should make yourself more relax by praying. Just pray in your heart. you will feel much more relax and will fall asleep real quick. Trust me. It works. ^^

Nah.. don't be anyone even though they seem perfect or very healthy or anything. You have your own pluses and minuses and every body does. That's what makes us human. So, i also have minuses but my minuses are my little secrets. can't reveal to anyone. LOL

wow I think that nice answer,praying is the best choice,I want to be you,i see you very easy don't have a problem about sleep.my problem is wake up at nite and hard to sleep.

Well i do that a lot too. I try not to drink before i go to sleep, but in the end, i cannot sleep because i feel thirsty. So you can drink, but drink a few. And if you can, try take a leak before you go to sleep. And if you are wake up in the midnight and cannot sleep, try to stay awake and focusing your eyes at something, but don't think anything. Usually your eyes will become tired and then you will go to sleep with out you realize it. At least it work for me.

The idea is for you to be bored. For me, boring mean the most fastest way to make me sleepy. When i was in bed, i watching my monitor that already turn off. Then usually with out realize it i getting more sleepy and sleepy. And then, in a more few minutes, i woke up and it is already morning. But well it work for me, but i cannot guarantee that it will work for you. Thanks.

Yeah, i usually wake up at midnight and find it hard to go back to sleep again.. call of nature is the reason why i need to wake up in the middle of the night...grrr!!! you know, if it's only safe to stop call of nature then i should have done it years ago! however, i am diabetic and i need to pee..

hi ridwan08! Haha! Yeah, same here! But I guess it is pretty normal. I just go back to bed and try to sleep again. Of i'll just do something else until I get sleepy. Reading books get me to sleep.. Hihi! But not the ones from my favorite author. I usually read old books from my sister which always put me to sleep. Going here to mylot is another great option to use your spare time. I always do that. I sleep with my laptop beside me.

hi danitykane, yes,reading book is average people to get sleep.but honestly,if reading book at midnite that can make me headache.bust that's depending of our habits,if you can sleep with reading book,it's good have a nice weekend

it is just the same with me. I also cann't sleep again if I wake up at midnite. I just open my laptop and online. and I won't get sleep until down. after I do my morning prayer i will get a sleep. but it is randomly. so i try to get sleep at 9 pm and wake up at 4.30. sleep well my friend...

Well the idea is actually really good. But well, if that happened to me, i cannot use it because i need the sleep. I have job, and if i dont get up in the morning, i could end up late in the office. But if it's in holiday or in the week end, there is no problem to implement the idea.

yes,we have same experience,but if I browsing internet,that can make me fresh and don't want to sleep.for tomorrow I've bad work because less sleep. have a nice day

Yes but I usually sleep after urination. Try drinking warm milk or if it doesn't work then try to sit on your bed for 20 min if you feel sleepy just go with the flow. If it still doesn't work. Please consult a doctor. :D

This is the first time i heard that milk can make people sleepy. What i want to ask is, is it any milk will do or a certain milk? How about milk that have high calsium and low fat? Will it work too? I ask that because i always drink low fat high calsium milk. Thanks.

Well turn on your favorite melody and you will find yourself sleeping. I tried as i have the same problem. I feel that i go into a deep sleep with my melody and make sure its a melody and doesnot disturb with sounds.

A good start is to find out what causes stress in your life and deal with that: it may be subconscious but you can get there: pray about it! Did you know that stress in the day produces hormones that affect your sleep at night because they stay in your blood even if the issue was resolved before bed... I'm thinking it may be your stressful career?
