For those of you who are actually watching the 2010 winter olympics, do you ever notice the coaches screaming for their athletes in the background? For example, when Lindsey Vonn went on her gold medal-winning run- just before she left the starting line- you could her her coach (or someone) screaming a count down. It sounded like "FOUR-AHHH, THREE! TWO-AHHH, ONE GO-AHHH!" It sounded extremely funny, my mom and I burst out laughing. On the men's figure skating, there was also one coach who screamed out the countdown to the "bonus"-eligible portion of the time to his skater. idk, I guess I just find people yelling and screaming funny, lol. w

I think its funny when they scream out of joy and happiness i don't like it when they yell at their athletes when they mess up in most cases these are legal minor athletes or at the very most collage age who respect their coaches with the same respect as they reserve for god.Theres no need to treat a young person that looks up to you that way even if they do mess up.They're human!

I guess that's one way to earn your money, huh? If you were the coach of a great olympic athlete, and you're already there at the Olympics, it's all up to the athlete. And I guess that's another form of marketing yourself if you were a coach. So that you'll get more athletes to train for you. But don't take my word for it, what do I know? Am not an athlete. Hehe

i was watching winter olympics fifure skating and i didn't catch the screaming and shouting but i wish i did. especially since you said it was funny. but i think its normal that coaches screams and shouts because those are the moments that they should perfect routines they have practiced for several months for that day=)
