any cure for shopping addiction?

hey guys,
how do you cure shopping addiction? my goodness I shopped like mad today and the past few days! since the city I'm in is a small one and you don't get a wide variety of items to select I turned onto the net and it had me hooked! whatever came over me?! I sit infront of the pc and while I log on to my lot and check my emails I open up several shopping sites and it had me hooked. I sit like mad waiting for the last minute to bid at ebay and i sometimes find myself waiting until the wee hour of the morning. man this is crazy! I gotta stop this madness! ever been like this before?

You're so funny candyfairy21! Don't worry, I don't think it's bad that you shop a lot. I think many of us find shopping as a stress reliever. Who wouldn't want to spend to feel good right? But then again, you should also have a lot of money in your pocket if you want to do this. I've heard a lot of people who are in debt because they keep on spending for the things they can't usually afford. Think Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic! So if you have tons to spend, GO and be happy! If not, CONTROL is the key! :)

for you to stay away from shopping then you must refrain in going to malls to check whats on sale or check your favorite item so you have no ideas bout it. then bette put all your money in bank and dont bring any debit or credit card if you cant help yourself to go to malls or join with friends for shopping. just bring small money on hand. i started to get hooked with shopping when i had my credit cards with me and so i closed them all when ive got problem paying my bills lol

hmmm its really hard to stop sweetie, its one way for us to feel important and happy... but what can i say, you can go out but bring only enough for you to eat and to buy something that's really important for you, its all work for me... hehehe
