How difficult is BUYING a house now a days???

I say with my parents and once I get married I would have to get my own accmodation , Getting a new house for myself and my GF has been the biggest challenge, as the prices of HOUSES in PRIME location are sky high.. I am talking about a place NOIDA near DELHI INDIA What do you guys think, Do you feel the same I feel ?

World economical crisis make evry country down especially housing industry even in here in England buying house is very difficult as the bank r not approving any kind of mortgages,so general people is out of thinking now a days to buy a house.
