I was decided to be a self employee when I was graduated from college, cause it more challenging and more profits I got than being and employee. But I beliave there is some reasons for someone to decide that. what would u choose between them?

I choose to be self employed for the freedom that it gives me and the fact that I now get to spend more time with my rapidly growing children. I have spent 18 years of my life being an employee. I worked for a boss from 1989 until 2006 and I have been self employed ever since then and am working from home. The only good point about working for a boss is that you know how much income you are going to get every week and here in Australia you get 4 weeks paid leave every year. But I believe working for a boss is soul destroying and it really boosted the confidence that I had in myself when I chose to leave that atmosphere and become my own boss.

me too, i wanted to be self employed or have my own business coz you handle your own time without any pressure from boss. im too tired being an employee with not enough salary and low benefits then they dont even bother to appreciate our hard work. i used to work in bank before, thees too many of us whose still contractual and been working with the company for almost a year already then all of a sudden thee comes a new employee who graduated from a reputable school and guess what, to our surprised, after 2 months she just got regularize. wow! only because she come from reputable school? she did not even have a lot of workload unlike us that need to overtime everyday even saturday we need to go to work to finish our workload. an so what happened, we started to file a resignation one by one. i really hate those kind of company who didnt even recognise our hardship towards our work.

I think it all depends mostly to the kind of persone you are, if you are indipendent person and a proud one you will probably not want to have a "boss" or anybody above you to take orders from, others like safety they don't risk anything as much as you do what your boss wants you to do. being self employeed means that if you make a mistake you're gonna pay direclty for the mistake. I persoanlly would like to be self employeed, chose mi times, mi schedules, my vacations and so on. But I wouln't mind too much having a boss but I prefer not to :)
