Whay is your life GUIDING PRINCIPLE? you MOTTO?

when i was like high school, life was so difficult then, attaining education seemed an unreachable dream because of many factors: health, family specially financial aspect. however, i came across this MOTTO that says: A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP. that became my guiding principle in life. that every time i encounter difficulty in my goal i would remember that, and how it drag my feet to continue walking on to reach my dream despite obstacles i encountered along the way. indeed, if we don't begin by making a single step to our goal, we will never reach where we want to be. in your case, do you have a guiding principle or a motto that somehow inspires to to go on? can you share yours too?

hi alexysabelle! I got my guiding principle in life from Richard Bach's Illusions. It says "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly..." Whenever I hit rock bottom, this quote serves as a reminder that this difficult situation is God's way of helping me become a better and stronger person. :)

For me I believe in Aluta Contua The struggle continues. I believe that life if full of ups and downs. We come a cross many obstacles and we must keep struggling to overcome them.

yeah, just like gold. it goes thru a lot of purification by constantly heated up to make it more pure. life can be full of struggles, but can also be like heaven on earth by helping those who need our help and those who are the LEAST of our brethren. thanks for the post danoluma. see you around. take care

Good Motto, I have my own motto too. "DO YOUR BEST AND GOD WILL DO THE REST", with this motto I will do my best in every aspect of my life, and I believe that GOD will help me, guide me, protect me with HIS way. Then I have no worries, and live happy for ever and ever.

I have two. The first one is a quote by Les Brown. "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll end up in the stars. The second is from an internet site called Tut. "Expectations that aren't followed by actions are just hoping and hoping never accomplished anything."
